Kira Talise is a television writer and creator originally from South Los Angeles, whose roots and passion for storytelling have driven a flourishing career in television writing. She began to make her mark as a writer and co-producer on the 2019 web series Hello Cupid 3.0 (2019), produced by Black & Sexy TV.

Following that, Talise contributed to Bounce TV’s comedies In the Cut (2020) and Family Time (2019–2020). She expanded her television credentials with work in script and continuity departments on critically acclaimed HBO shows, including A Black Lady Sketch Show (2019–2021) and Insecure (2016–2021).

In 2022, Talise earned recognition as a staff writer on the TV series Killing It (2022), contributing to ten episodes of the show’s first season.

Talise has also been tapped within the Marvel universe, serving as a story editor and writer on Wonder Man (2025-2026).
